Chapter 6- Out of the frying pan and into the fire!

These are the answers to the questions asked for chapter 6:
1. "how does Bilbo react to the loss of the company? How does the company react to the loss of Bilbo?" Bilbo felt miserable that he didn't know where they were, and that he should go back and try to find them. The dwarves ans Gandalf however, were arguing about whether or not they should go back for Bilbo or continue without him.
2. " compare and contrast Bilbo's story of what happened to him with what the narrator said happened to him. How do you account for diferences? what would you have done?" Bilbo went into details(about gollum) and the narrator just said they were throwing riddles at each other? ._.If I were Bilbo, I would have hit Gollum in the head with a rock or something and got the heck out of there!!!!!!
3. "how has Bilbo changed since chapter 1?" Bilbo isn't just another scared little hobbit, he stood up to gollum and get out of the cave without Gandalf or the dwarves.
4. Bilbo tells the story to Gandalf and the dwarves, but leaves out the ring.
5. " what functions does the setting serve in this chapter?" the setting provides trees so they can escape the wolves, but Gandalf's tree gets burned down.
6.He used ther same technique when he described the eagles.
