chapter 6 questions
Question 1. how does bilbo react to to the loss of the company? how does the company react to the loss of bilbo? what conclusions can u draw?
1. The loss of bilbo makes the dwarfes makes them feel sad and now they dont have a burglar in their group
Question 2. campare and contrast Bilbo's of wat happened to him with the narrator said happened to him. how do you account for the differences? what would you have down if u were bilbo?

2. Bilbo found the invisible ring so had escaped from the goblins and seperated from the group. But then later he finds the group under a bridge discussing what they r gonna do next.

Questions 3. ho whas bilbo changed since chapter 1?
3. Bilbo has changed since chapter 1 because he used to be this shy hobbit in a little hobbit hole all calm and centered. but then as he travels along the voyage he learns how to fight, live, and
quiet. now hes like a fighter.

Question 4. Riddle competitions have been used since primative times to decide the fate someone or something. how is this tradition reflected in the company's reaction to Bilbo's story?
4. It is because he wknows more of common riddles that are used in the riddle competition.

Quetion 5. What functions does the settingserve in this chapter?
5.The functions are mostly that Bilbo gets lost and finds the ivisible ring, then finds all the dwarfes again

question 6. One of the techniques Tolkien uses to support the conceit that the narrator is relating true historyis to make connections between the origins of real-world launguage and the imaginary world of the story. In chapter 1 (page 17) . he has the narroator explain the origins of the game of golf. How does he use this technique in chapter 6?
