1. The role of this setting is "The Lonely Moutian," which is very gloomy and depressing."
2. What they do is they exit but they are kind of dissapointed that they climbed that way for nothing.
3.The dwarfs didn't take the advice of Elrond, who was talking about moon letters, they also don't listen very well.
4. The author "says" that they will get more advice and probably not take it.
5. They fight a lot and they don't get along very well in this chapter.
6. The thrush is a type of bird, a very pretty one.
7. It kind of scared me because I didn't know what was going to happen.
