Chapters 11 and 10

chapter 10:
1.Bilbo and the party were very lucky when they approached the Lonely mountains and the dwarves were all alive.(thank goodness)=3
2.The dwarves were released from the barrels by Bilbo, who saw that the dwarves were sore and angry.
3.The guards were astonished by Thorin, but they also picked up their weapons and threatened the dwarves.
4. the master doesn't belive their story, and he doesn't really trust them.
5.The townspeople were very kind and excited about the dwarves coming into town, and they gave then a house, a boat, and rowers for their boat.
6.the Elvenking thought the party intended to bring down their kingdom, but they really wanted to get their gold and the Arkenstone from Smaug.(the dragon)
7.I think the chapter title is chosen because they were welcomed warmly into Laketown.
chapter 11:
1. The role of the setting is the Lonely mountains, which is very evil and aomewhat sinister looking.
2. The company excited, but sort of disapointed that they had climbed all that way for nothing.
3. The dwarves had not taken the advice of Elrond, who was saying something about moon letters that were on the cave door.The dwarves were too eager to get their treasure they paid no attention to them.
4. The author gives you the idea that something horrible is about to happen. O.o o.O
5. The dwarves are expecting Bilbo to get them out of trouble with Smaug , and get inside the cave.
6.The Thrush was whacking a snail on the ground.(poor thing......) =(
7. When the door opened, I thought, "Oh noes, something terrible is going to happen to the dwarves or Bilbo." Then again, I have read this book before.
